B vitamins are necessary for metabolism function and the functioning of body parts such as muscles, tissues, eyes, skin, nerves, etc. Without B vitamins, the body is easily tired fatigue, anorexia, anemia, irritability, poor memory, ...
Calcium is needed for bone formation and many biological processes such as: stimulating neurons, releasing neurotransmitters, muscle contraction, preserving membranes and coagulation. Calcium also helps secondary communication for the activity of many hormones.
PRESENTATION: Box of 10 ampoules x 10 ml.
POINT:
Supplement calcium and vitamins for the body in the following cases: Children with rickets, growth retardation, vitamin deficiency, the elderly eat poorly, insomnia, people with depression after illness, pregnant or breast-feeding women.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Take it in the morning or at noon, right after meals.
Adults and children over 6 years: Take 1 tube / day.
Children under 6 years: Use as directed by a physician.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any components of the drug.
Ventricular fibrillation in cardiac resuscitation, heart and kidney disease, hypercalcemia, osteosarcoma, severe hypercalciuria, immobile osteoporosis, patients taking digitalis.
CAREFUL:
Used with caution in patients with respiratory failure or acidosis, hypercalcemia may occur when renal function is reduced.
After long-term use of vitamin B6 at a dose of 200 mg / day, neurotoxicity may have been observed. Doses of 200 mg daily, lasting for more than 30 days, can cause vitamin B6 dependence syndrome.
Pregnant and lactating women:
The drug is used for pregnant women and nursing mothers.
Effects of drugs on work: The drug does not affect people who are operating machinery, driving trains, people working on high altitude and other cases.
INTERACTIONS: Calcium reduces the absorption of demeclocylin, doxycycline, metacyclin, minocyclin, oxytetracycline, quinolone antibiotics, iron, zinc and other essential minerals.
Glucocorticoid, phenytoin, phytates, oxalates reduce calcium absorption. Phosphate, calcitonin, sodium sulfate, furosemide, magnesium, cholestyramine, estrogen, some anticonvulsants reduce blood calcium.
Calcium increases cardiac toxicity of digitalis glycosides. Thiazide diuretics increase blood calcium levels.
Vitamin B6 reduces the effects of levodopa.
With biphosphonate: Reduces absorption of biphosphonate.
UNWANTED EFFECTS:
Common: Constipation, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, hypotension, peripheral vasodilation.
Uncommon: Sweating, arrhythmia.
Rarely: Thrombosis.
Vitamin B1 (rare): Excessive sweating, hypersensitivity shock, acute hypertension, rash, pruritus, urticaria, shortness of breath.
Taking high doses of vitamin B2, the urine will be yellow.
Taking vitamin B6 at a dose of 200 mg / day and prolonged (over 2 months) can cause severe peripheral neuropathy, progressing from unsteady gait and numbness to the feet and frostbite and awkward hands. This condition can be reversible when the drug is stopped, although there may be some sequelae.
OVERDOSE AND TREATMENT:
Blood calcium concentrations exceeding 2.6 mmol / liter (10.5 mg / 100 ml) are considered hypercalcemia. Stopping any drug that is likely to cause hypercalcemia may resolve mild hypercalcemia in patients without clinical symptoms and with normal renal function.
When the blood calcium concentration exceeds 2.9 mmol / liter (12 mg / 100 ml), immediately take the following measures:
Rehydration with intravenous sodium chloride 0.9%. Forced diuresis with furosemide or ethacrynic acid to increase rapid elimination of calcium and sodium when too much 0.9% sodium chloride solution has been used.
Monitor the concentration of potassium and magnesium in the blood and replace blood early to prevent complications in treatment.
Monitor ECG and possibly beta-adrenergic blockers to prevent severe arrhythmias.
Can hemodialysis, can use calcitonin and adrenocorticoid in the treatment.
Determine blood calcium levels at regular intervals to guide treatment.
STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store in dry places, not exceeding 30oC, protect from light.
SHELF LIFE: 24 months from date of manufacture.
DATE OF CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES OF DRUGS GUIDE: June 22, 2017.
